In this article we will create a mac screensaver from the famous Matrix Movie in HTML5 and then use a Cocoa Mac Screen saver wrapper bundle it into a Mac Screensaver

This is my first Mac app ever so I thought I would share! Silicon Info in action. Of course, it is open source and you can view the code on Github. If anybody wants to download it, you can get it from Github or the Mac App Store! Hope it helps somebody, thanks for checking it out! The Matrix was a pretty cool movie (one of my favorites), now you can enjoy the streaming digits of the Matrix from the safety of your home. No Red or blue pills - just a small, no configuration or installation required screensaver that you can run as needed.

hi, I have just updated to Mojava and it seems to not work...
when it's time for the screensaver to appear it shows a black screen.

Hello Yarin,
Thanks for posting to the message board.
For some reason, with every update to macOS, Apple keeps changing things that cause many screensavers to stop working, particularly the older ones. Unlike with Windows, backward compatibility does not appear to be of significant concern to them. Mojave seems to be especially 'bad' in this regard, and I expect it to break a relatively large number of screensavers found on this site.
As for Matrix Mania, the last version of macOS it officially supports is Snow Leopard (10.6), so I'm actually surprised it has worked with all versions up to Mojave. Unfortunately, I believe the software is not actively maintained, so an update to Matrix Mania is not likely to be released. You could reach out to the developer at support@stronggames.com, but as I said, I don't think it's actively maintained.
All of this is out of my control, I'm afraid. Sorry for the inconvenience!

no, I wanted this one and I paid for it just a couple weeks ago...
If there is no possible way to make it work, I would like to get my money back
as I can't use it now...Who do I contact for a refund or a different solution?

I can see how that's frustrating. Let me upgrade my Mac to Mojave and poke around for a bit, I don't think it's likely I can fix it, but I'll give it a try anyway.
Failing that, I believe Matrix Mania is sold through the Mycommerce platform, so I think you would need this page to request a refund, though you could also try contacting the developer via the e-mail address support@stronggames.com.
I'll post back tomorrow with the results of my poking around with Mojave.

The MatrixGL screensaver does work on Mojave, in case you want to try another one.
